Sometimes, things just suck.
Just over a month ago I took him in for his shots and a checkup. Everything was good. A few weeks after that he started peeing all over the house. I took him in again and he had an infection. Several anti-biotics later he was fine. Everything checked out. Then a few days after that, he started throwing up. Not a lot, but enough to be concerned. Then he REALLY started throwing up. He kept me up throwing up 7 times in one night.
I took him to the vet. X-rays, IV's urine tests, blood tests, anti-nausea drugs, barium x-rays, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, and an ultra-sound (and $700) and there's nothing wrong, except that he won't stop puking and he can't keep food down.
This is so frustrating. The next step is exploratory surgery, which I can't afford, so he can't get it. I hate being here. He's a really good boy and I am really sad. There's nothing I can do except put him down. I'll give it a few more days, but this doesn't look good.
Poor kitty.
PS - in case I didn't mention it - I'm not in the mood for advice or opinions.

Hey hon, I feel for as I have been there two years ago my parents baby got reallly sick and they wanted to do ultrasounds and everything total cost was $1200, my dad asked the vet for $1200 can you promise me he wont suffer anymore, and the vet said no everything was a maybe so we had to let him go and it killed all of us he was one of the family, I thinks its even harder when you don't know what is wrong at least we knew it was heart problems. But he means that much to you I am sure you will find a way, it would so much easier if you just knew what you were facing, I can't tell you want to do, but follow your heart.
